Join Captain Bill with over four decades of doing history and ecology tours of the mighty Merrimack and its environs. This one hour voyage treats you to vistas of great beauty, including views of several towns, islands, bridges, waterfowl, and picturesque waterfront homes. It’s no wonder that writers and poets of yesteryear were moved to write about this jewel of a river.
Your vessel is a 26-foot U.S.Coast Guard motor surf boat with limited seating, so first-come, first-served. For your savings, you may bring along your own food or libation. There is no “bordalou,” therefore a “tinkle” is recommended prior to departure.
If you are interested in history, ecology, navigation, and a little bit of humor all rolled into one, then this is the trip for you. Comments along the way are designed to be informative, provocative, and most of all uplifting in spirit. Spoil yourself and don’t pass it by.
COST: $20.00 per person (pay on board) RESERVATIONS: Call Capt. Bill Taplin for reservations at 978-462-9316, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
